 DEFCON 5:

Defcon 5 constitutes a state of total peace, prosperity and high moral and ethical code throughout our society.  In a state of Defcon 5, the United States Constitution is intact and not under any form of attack from special interest groups, global powers or influences, or other threats.

DEFCON 4:

Defcon 4 constitutes a mild state of alert.  Relative peace and prosperity are still evident, however there are issues of concern to be watchful of which may pose a threat.  Moral and ethical code may be under a state of light attack.  In a state of Defcon 4, the United States Constitution is generally intact and may be under a mild form of attack from special interest groups, global powers or influences, or other threats.

DEFCON 3:

Defcon 3 constitutes a moderate state of alert.  Disruptions to peace and prosperity are evident. Clear and present threats are apparent and public. Moral and ethical code are under moderate attack.  In a state of Defcon 3, the United States Constitution is partially intact and is under moderate forms of public attack from special interest groups, global powers or influences, or other threats.

DEFCON 2:

Defcon 2 constitutes a severe threat alert.  Disruptions to peace and prosperity are extremely evident. Clear and present dangerous threats are extremely apparent and public. Moral and ethical code are severely eroded and under severe and deliberate attack.  In a state of Defcon 2, the United States Constitution is barely intact and is under severe forms of public attack from special interest groups, global powers or influences, or other severe threats. The republic's very survival is under direct threat in Defcon 2.

DEFCON 1:

Defcon 1 constitutes a dire survival alert.  Peace and prosperity are non-existent. A state of violence and war has erupted throughout the country. Moral and ethical code are non-existent.  In a state of Defcon 1, the United States Constitution is not intact. The republic's very survival and the survival of it's citizens are actively being determined during Defcon 1.
